Dr. Carlos Felipe, a full-time, indeterminate research professor in the Department of Biosciences and Engineering at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Environmental and Development Research (CIIEMAD) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), is conducting research that has the potential to significantly impact our world. His work includes the synthesis of nanostructures using the HFCVD-CSVT method, the environmental applications and implications of nanostructures, and the simulation of capillary processes in porous media using Monte Carlo methods. These research lines hold promise for addressing pressing environmental and engineering challenges.
