PhD student
University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain. My research focuses on the development of advanced ceramic materials through spark plasma sintering (SPS), with a particular emphasis on the doping of boron carbide (B₄C) with high-entropy alloys (HEAs) to enhance mechanical and electrochemical performance.
My doctoral work investigates the effects of CoCrFeNiMo HEA additions on the microstructure, hardness, and corrosion resistance of B₄C composites in aggressive environments. I have presented my results at international conferences and published in indexed journals such as Metals and Applied Sciences.
In addition to my academic work, I collaborate with projects related to renewable energy and contribute to interdisciplinary efforts involving materials for energy, defense, and nuclear applications.
