Graduated in Physics from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2001), Master in Geophysics from the National Observatory (2007) and Ph.D. in Materials Engineering and Chemical and Metallurgical Processes from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2011). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Fluminense Federal University and a collaborator at the Brazilian Center for Physical Research. He has experience in the field of electron microscopy, physical metallurgy and materials characterization.
