Pavel Potapov obtained his Ph.D. in the Physics of Metals focusing on advanced alloys development, with research conducted in Moscow, Seoul, Berlin, and Lausanne. He then transitioned to the field of Transmission Electron Microscopy working as a postdoc at EMAT (University of Antwerp). Subsequently, he spent 12 years as a materials analyst in the semiconductor industry, with AMD and GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Dresden. In 2017, he joined the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research (IFW-Dresden). That same year, he founded the startup TEMDM, specializing in electron microscopy data processing.
