Surya is a Research Scientist (Researcher / Engineer I) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he works jointly with the NanoImaging Lab (Prof. Rich Hailstone) and the Integrated Photonics Group (led by Dr. Stefan Preble). His research spans electron microscopy, optics, integrated photonics, and imaging. Surya holds a Ph.D. in Imaging Science (Optics) and an M.S. in Physics, both from RIT.
