Dr. Hasan Ali completed his PhD at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Uppsala University, Sweden in 2020, followed by a postdoctoral position at the Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Stockholm University, Sweden. Afterwards, Dr. Hasan Ali was awarded by a prestigeous international postdoc grant by Swedish Research Council for developing methods to achieve atomic resolution electron magnetic circular dichroism (EMCD) in a scanning transmission electron microscope. Under the framework of this grant, Dr. Hasan Ali has been working as a guest researcher at Ernst-Ruska Centre for Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Electrons (ER-C), Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany since August 2022. His current research aims to map magnetic properties of materials at the atomic scale, contributing to the fundamental understanding of magnetism and enabling the design of future magnetic and spintronic devices.
