Christian received both B.S. and M.S degrees from Stanford University in Materials Science and Engineering in 2016, with a focus in biomaterials. He then worked at Vivani Medical for several years, a medical device company that is focused on the development of a novel implantable drug delivery device. Christian's work in the medical device field involved the production and characterization of titania nanoporous membranes for medical applications. Currently Christian works at Sandia National Labs where he manages the Electron Probe Microanalysis (EPMA) capability as well as supports other types of materials characterization efforts.
