Ingrid holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2015), a Master's degree in Biophysics (2018) and a PhD in Science (2023) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her research expertise includes cell biology of protoparasites, volume electron microscopy, and cryo sample preparation and imaging. Currently, she is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Biophysics Carlos Chagas Filho National, where she is investigating the molecular and structural architecture of the osmoregulatory system of Trypanosoma cruzi.
