Research Engineer
University of Rouen
CNRS, Haute-Normandie, United States
Jonathan Houard (38 years old), obtained his thesis at the University of Rouen on laser / matter interaction in Atom Probe Tomograhy. After a post-doc at MATEIS (Lyon, France) and GPM (Rouen, France) on the coupling of TEM tomography and APT, he was recruited at the CNRS as a research engineer and was assigned to the GPM. He is now in charge of laser APTs, amplified laser chains and laser experiments as well as the development and coupling of APT with optical measurements on nanotips. He has been in charge of experimental tasks in different projects (Ultrasonde, Tapoter, Efesto, Aqurate, ASAP Dynamite, iMust, Bridge, TeraSAT). Those tasks were on the development of new experimental benches and of new models that led to a better understanding of the laser-matter interaction on nano-objects. He is the author or co-author of 43 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, one book chapter, and one patent. He has also been involved for 10 years in collaboration with CAMECA to improve APT and APT technology transfer.
