Eliah R. Shamir, MD, PhD (she/her/hers)

Eliah Shamir is a Principal Scientist in Research Pathology at Genentech. After earning her MD and PhD from Johns Hopkins, she trained in Anatomic Pathology at UCSF and completed subspecialty fellowships in breast and surgical pathology. Since joining Genentech in 2021, Eliah has supported projects across regenerative medicine, oncology, and complex in vitro models (CIVM), and she also serves as the Scientific Lead for the Histopathology Development lab and the Pathology CIVM and Tissue Clearing Working Groups.
