Sofía Bordet holds a degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), graduating in 2020. She is currently a doctoral fellow at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), under the supervision of Dr. Santiago Pérez Lloret. Her main research interests include psychobiology, neuroscience, and the relationship between mental health and quality of life. She conducts her research at the Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Humanas y de la Salud (UAI), directed by Dr. Francisco Capani, and is also affiliated with the Centro de Investigaciones en Psicología y Psicopedagogía (UCA). Her current work focuses on non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease, and she also collaborates on research into neuroprotection in perinatal asphyxia.
