Luis Felipe Esparza Hernandez is a Industrial engineer with a Master’s degree in Advanced Manufacting and currently pursuing a PhD in Advanced Manufacturing.
In his current research, Luis investigates the effect of laser power on the characteristics of 316L stainless steel clads deposited on vertical D2 steel walls using laser cladding technology.
In addition to his academic work, Luis serves as Global Supply Chain Manager at Lucid Motors, where he leads sourcing strategies for structural components and advanced manufacturing systems. With over 13 years of industry experience across automotive and high-tech sectors, he brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and production-driven decision-making.
