Francisco Ruiz-Zepeda received his Ph.D. from CICESE (Mexico). Later he joined the Kleberg Advanced Microscopy Center at the University of Texas at San Antonio as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2015 he joined the Electron Microscopy and Catalysts group in National Institute of Chemistry in Slovenia, and from 2018 he also joined the Institute of Metals and Technology. His research interest is focused on studying and probing the nanostructure of materials using novel analytical electron microscopy tools.
