Dr. Masaki Takeguchi is a chief researcher at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). He received his PhD in Engineering from Osaka University in 1993. He belonged to JEOL Ltd. (1993-1998) and then moved to the current institute. His current research focuses on in-situ atomic-scale (S)TEM characterization of solid-liquid interfaces of energy materials and the development of relevant techniques.
