Born in 1994 and grown up in a small town at the beatiful sunny South Harz in Germany, I was eager to leave this place and explore the world. After finishing highschool, I spent a year in Australia doing hard farmwork in the toughest environments to improve my self discipline and my english skills to facilitate the following years during my studies at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Besides studying, I worked for a company building vaccuum chambers for sputtering and worked as an advisor in a restaurant. During my master study I have performed measurements at the synchrotron facilities BESSY II in Berlin and ELETTRA in Trieste and was at the LIBD 2017 conference in Arcachon. My Master Thesis was awarded as outstanding from the organization “Freunde der TU Darmstadt”. I started my doctoral studies in April 2019 in the Advanced Electron Microscopy group of Prof. Molina-Luna.
