Vania holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Bryn Mawr College and a Master's in Management and Leadership from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. She currently serves as the Manager of the Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Core at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The TEM Core is a vital shared resource supporting all three of UM’s campuses, offering a comprehensive range of electron microscopy services. The facility houses two JEOL JEM-1400 electron microscopes and three Leica ultramicrotomes, enabling advanced research across a wide range of scientific disciplines.
