Dr. Philippe Pinard graduated with a PhD in Engineering from the RWTH Aachen in Germany. He then joined Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis in 2016 where he is currently the Directory of Research and Technology. His research focuses on EDS, WDS and EBSD, in particular the development and improvement of these analytical techniques. He is author or co-author of 72 papers in international journals.
