Pawel Nowakowski holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Toulon (France), completed in 2008. He began his career in academia as a scientific staff member at Nantes University, where he focused on nickel-based superalloys.
In 2010, Pawel transitioned to industry, joining Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis as an EBSD Specialist. Since 2015, he has been with E.A. Fischione Instruments as a Senior Scientist. In this role, he plays a key part in the development and introduction of new products, working closely with engineering and R&D teams to shape solutions that meet evolving customer and industry needs. He also provides scientific and technical expertise to a global user base across both academic and industrial sectors.
With over 20 years of experience in materials science and electron microscopy instrumentation, Pawel has built a strong track record at the intersection of technology, and application. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and delivered over 55 presentations at international conferences.
